Privacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
The short version
- What you log is saved in a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive, and on your phone.
- LogCraft Studio never receives, stores or sees your entries.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies. We don't sell or share anything.
Who we are
LogCraft Studio makes mobile tracking apps that work with your own Google Sheet, sold on Etsy. This policy covers our website and our apps, such as the Expense Tracker. Questions: [email protected].
What the apps can access in your Google account
When you connect, you give the app one Google permission (called drive.file). It lets the app:
- create one sheet in your Google Drive, for example "My Expense Tracker", and
- open and change only the files the app itself created.
The app can't see any other files in your Drive, or your email, contacts or photos. It also reads your Google account's email address, only to remember which account you use so Google can skip the account list next time. That address stays on your phone.
How we use that information
Only to run the app for you: to save your entries into your sheet, read them back, and show your totals, budgets and charts. Your information goes directly between your phone and Google. It isn't used for advertising, isn't sold, and isn't shared with anyone.
What is kept on your phone
So the app opens instantly and works without signal, your phone keeps:
- a copy of your entries, categories and budgets,
- changes that are waiting to reach your sheet,
- which sheet is yours, and your account's email address,
- your Google sign-in, so you don't have to sign in every hour.
This stays in the app's storage on your phone and is never sent to us. To remove it, open the app's Settings and tap Disconnect this phone, or remove the app from your Home Screen and clear the website's data in your browser.
Staying signed in
Google's sign-in lasts one hour. To renew it without asking you again, the app sends Google's sign-in code to a small helper on our website, which passes it to Google and returns a new one-hour sign-in to your phone. The helper doesn't store or record anything and never opens your sheet.
Other companies involved
- Google holds your account and your sheet. Google's own privacy policy applies to them.
- Cloudflare hosts our website. Like any web host it handles ordinary connection details, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages. We don't use its analytics.
- Etsy handles your purchase. We see the order details Etsy gives sellers and use them only for your order and support.
When you contact us
If you email us, we use your message only to help you. The app's Settings has a support report you can choose to copy into your message. It holds the app version, your type of phone and technical messages, not your entries. You can read it before you send it.
Removing access
You can disconnect the app at any time: Google Account, then Security, then Your connections to third-party apps and services, then LogCraft Studio, then Delete all connections. Your sheet stays in your Google Drive until you delete it yourself.
Children
Our apps are not meant for children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
Google API Services
LogCraft Studio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
